Tagore Society for Rural Development, Orissa Projects is committed to take up all such programmes and activities which are necessary to enable and empower the poor and marginalized consisting of deprived and disadvantaged in rural and urban areas of Orissa.

It undertakes integrated and sustainable development of communities through economic, social, cultural, educational, environmental, vocational, charitable, moral, agriculture, physical, psychical, health, hygiene and sanitation activities to eradicate rural poverty and to ensure secured sustainable livelihood with participation and self governance.

Promote access to natural resources, its preservation and management through participatory approach.

Promote alternative livelihood opportunities for the poor by developing a self reliant and self respectable people and communities in its project areas.
